Parking service provider raises over $100,000 to benefit scholarships, employee funds and community nonprofits
Parking Management Company hosted their fourth annual PMC Cares Golf Classic on September 24, 2024, where they raised more than $100,000 to benefit the company’s nonprofit foundation, PMC Cares. All proceeds from the event support PMC Cares’ grants and donations for the following year. The local hospitality and parking services provider has donated over $157,000 for local and national charities in 2024.
“PMC Cares shows the true heart of the PMC mission: showing up for our community and our people, here and across the country,” said PMC CEO Tee McCarley. “It’s an honor to be able to celebrate PMC Cares’ growth and the causes and people it supports, while raising money to further our impact.”
PMC Cares launched in 2016 to support a scholarship fund for PMC associates, an employee assistance fund and impactful donations to local nonprofits in the communities in which PMC operates. The company, which previously collaborated with The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, established PMC Cares as an official 501(c)(3) organization in early 2023.
Throughout 2024, the nonprofit has granted $40,000 in scholarships for PMC associates, in addition to $18,000 given to employee assistance funds so far this year. In addition, PMC Cares has supported 21 organizations with over $157,000 in donations.
In 2022, PMC established the Lend a Hand program to supplement their community impact efforts. Each of PMC’s regions chooses an organization that resonates with their associates, and the Lend a Hand program will support the foundation with donations and volunteer hours. Through this program, PMC Cares has donated over $40,000 across four Lend a Hand organizations in 2024 and the company’s associates have tracked hundreds of volunteer hours across the country.
