Parking Management Company (PMC), a leader in the parking industry for hotel, hospital, event, and self-parking management services, announces the promotion of Ron Coleman to Senior Vice President of Operations. Ron previously served the company as Vice President of Operations, West.

PMC is a hyper-growth hospitality services provider that has experienced tremendous national expansion in the past few years. As PMC’s scope continues to evolve, its leadership team recognizes the importance of re-structuring, adding new depth in leadership positions, and promoting from within.

“For the past several years, PMC has experienced explosive growth, and 2021 is no different. We are adding hundreds of new accounts, hiring thousands of employees, and most importantly we’re creating new opportunities for our people,” said PMC President Matt Cahill, “As we grow, our company structure must change with us – expanding and contracting to support our operational needs and set us up for continued success.”

As Senior Vice President of Operations, Ron will be responsible for navigating the Hospitality Division through the next chapter of the PMC story. “The beautiful thing about PMC is that we have absolute clarity on what is important in this business. Build an amazing team of men and women and give them a place to grow, be obsessed with delivering a superior service experience for our guests, and always add value for our partners. It was the same 15 years ago and will be the same 15 years from now. I am excited to get to work serving this amazing team,” said Ron.

Ron joined PMC in 2019 after working in the parking and hospitality industry for 15 years. Throughout his career, he has held every leadership position from Valet Supervisor to Vice President. He has led the markets of Atlanta, South Florida, the Southwest Region (including Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana), and most recently was responsible for all PMC operations West of the Mississippi River. Ron’s focus on delivering quality and consistency in operations through a people-first leadership approach has propelled him to success in the company.

“Ron is an asset to PMC,” said Cahill, “In his time as VP of Operations, he oversaw the successful openings of hundreds of hotels, established industry relationships that created new opportunities for our company, assisted with the seamless transition of a valuable business acquisition, and steadfastly supported the dozens of Senior Leaders that reported to him in our Western Region. We look forward to his leadership in this new role.”
