Parking Management Company (PMC) hosted its second annual Music City Masters golf tournament on October 19, 2022 at the Hermitage Golf Course in Old Hickory, TN. The event was in support of PMC Cares, the company’s Scholarship, Employee Assistance, and Community Impact fund. With the generous contributions of their sponsors and attendees, PMC was able to raise over $100,000 for the charitable fund.
As part of this year’s tournament, select sponsors were invited to attend the first annual Music City Masters Champions’ Dinner the night before the tournament. The dinner was hosted at Park Café in Nashville and featured a 4-course meal, live music, and signature drinks chosen by last year’s winning foursome. The executive team from PMC enjoyed spending time with sponsors and sharing the purpose of PMC Cares and the impact it has made upon PMC associates and their families.
In addition to their Scholarship and Employee Assistance efforts, the PMC Cares Giving Committee also announced a new branch of the charitable fund, focusing on Community Impact. New for 2022, PMC’s “Lend a Hand” Program invites its associates to participate in PMC Cares more than ever before. Quarterly, each of the company’s regions will take turns choosing a cause that they are passionate about. PMC Cares will donate to the chosen organization(s), and the region’s associates will participate in volunteer efforts to further support the cause.
“We are incredibly grateful for the support of our sponsors and attendees,” said President Matt Cahill, “Because of their generosity, PMC Cares will be able to help more people than ever before.”
The Music City Masters welcomed 136 golfers in its second year. Guests were greeted at registration with music by Carson Medders. Players received custom Music City Masters swag and $100 gift cards to the Hermitage’s tournament store, plus a signature tournament drink and lunch, including Masters-inspired pimento cheese sandwiches.
The golf round was followed by a lively reception, featuring a DJ and a Southern-inspired barbecue dinner. Guests also had the opportunity to bid in a live auction, on items including valuable signed instruments, tickets to concerts and sports events, and weekend stays at amazing destinations.
To conclude the night, awards were given out to the first place team. Congratulations to Matt Cahill, Ron Coleman, Jake Varshal, and Bradley Lombardo on their victory. In keeping with the theme, the winners will receive green, embroidered Masters jackets and will choose the menu for next year’s Champions’ Dinner.
PMC looks forward to hosting next year’s Music City Masters and encourages anyone who would like to support PMC Cares to attend! The company would also like to extend special thanks to Title sponsor Daily Pay and Diamond sponsors Paycom, Flash Parking, and Oobeo for their valuable contributions.
