PMC Hosts Dinner Celebrating PMC Cares
Parking Management Company (PMC) hosted a “Mask-erade” dinner on October 13th, 2020 at Acme Feed & Seed in downtown Nashville. PMC associates and scholarship winners were invited to dine with each other in celebration of PMC Cares, the company’s scholarship and Employee Assistance foundation.
The “Mask-erade” dinner was planned by Area Manager JT Manor and Human Resources Manager Elizabeth Hagler, with support from chairwomen Shannon Cahill and Lynley McCarley. The event raised additional proceeds for PMC Cares while also celebrating its success in aiding employees over the past year.
Attendees enjoyed a delicious meal and open bar catered by Acme Feed & Seed, with music provided by James and the Wild Spirit. The band’s guitar player Carson Medders is also a PMC hotel account manager. After the events of 2020, PMC associates were thrilled at the opportunity to reconnect with co-workers in a safe and socially distanced setting.
“The Mask-erade Dinner was amazing. It was great to see the PMC team come together in a difficult time to raise money for our teammates,” said CEO Tee McCarley.
PMC Cares provides scholarship opportunities to PMC employees and their children. 2020 scholarship winners Jerry Dismukes and Austin Cunningham (pictured below) were in attendance. Jerry and Austin both spoke at the event and expressed gratitude to their manager JT Manor for his constant encouragement and help in filling out their scholarship applications.
The Jeffrey V Fund, PMC’s Employee Assistance program, seeks to support PMC associates in a time of need. The company was happy to provide assistance to three associates during the COVID-19 pandemic. With the ongoing support of PMC Cares from events like the “Mask-erade” dinner, PMC will continue to invest in their employees’ future endeavors and support them in their times of need.
