National parking leader expanding presence, technology and resources to Detroit, Birmingham, Royal Oak and Ann Arbor
Park Rite, a Detroit-based, family-owned parking operator with a nearly 50-year history in Southeast Michigan, has been acquired by Parking Management Company (PMC), a national leader in hospitality and commercial parking services. The acquisition allows PMC to support the growth of a well-established family-owned business while bringing its technology, resources and operational expertise to the region.
PMC will assume ownership and management of Park Rite’s existing portfolio, which includes more than 40 parking lots and 14 garages across Detroit, including the Theater District, Financial District, Greektown and Corktown, as well as high-demand areas in Royal Oak, Birmingham, and Ann Arbor’s Main Street and State Street districts. In addition to commercial garages and lots, Park Rite also supports parking for local events and provides valet services throughout metropolitan Detroit. The acquisition sets up long-term opportunities, expanded resources and consistent service for the company’s partners, employees and locations across the state.
